A stakeholder workshop was being held on 23 January 2012 to review progress on the Feasibility Study for Community Outdoor Gyms, Fitness Trails, Food Growing in Parks, Green Spaces and Allotments in Stoke-on-Trent, which was undertaken by VAGA in 2010. Since then the City has experienced unprecedented levels of change in both Health and the Local Authority. As the findings of the study are so important inreflecting the views of local people and whatworks for them in improving their health the workshop will revisit the study and its findings with a view to:

  • Capturing what has happened since the report was produced.
  • Identifying what can be taken forward in the current climate and how it can be linked into other initiatives that are happening locally.
