Equality Act Learning Events

The new Equality Act is likely to have an impact on us all: from large organisations employing staff, to service deliverers such as Sports Development Officers, clubs and coaches. 'The Equality Act Explained’ is a practical learning event created to provide delegates with an understanding and working knowledge of the Act. Using limited legal jargon, the event is specifically designed to describe the Act’s effect on the sport and leisure industry and to provide delegates with realistic solutions that they can implement. It will cover:

  • Employment of staff and the management of volunteers
  • Service provision
  • Private membership clubs/associations
  • Public sector responsibilities.
