  • Effective process-based approach to project management to deliver project outcomes to time and to budget
  • Ability to design and implement data capture, processing and analysis techniques to measure change and monitor performance
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with the experience to communicate with a wide variety of audiences in a wide variety of formats with confidence.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Commissioned a regional survey to measure sports participation at local level
  • Supported the development and delivery of the national Active People survey
  • National modelling of performance measures for the Audit Commission
  • Developed, with academic partners, a fit for purpose assessment framework to aid the production of sport and active recreation strategies
  • Developed the framework for sport in England and the Yorkshire plan for sport
  • Compiled evidence submitted to the Strategy Unit during the development of Game Plan
  • Developed and implemented a performance management framework for sport in Yorkshire to track and measure performance at local authority level
  • Advised the Department for Culture Media and Sport on performance indicators
  • Managed Sport England’s Active England and Big Lottery Fund projects, allocating and managing over £2 Million to underrepresented groups via a regional distribution channel
  • Developed course material for the academic sector and undertook process of internal quality assessment and moderation.

Make a positive difference, however small, in the field of sport research.
Complete a stage of the tour de France.
Own and run a smallholding in the Yorkshire Dales.
