Clare MayallConsultant

As an internationally experienced OD/HR consultant, Clare has worked in a variety of sectors from telecommunications, through manufacturing to financial services. With a background in psychology, she has experience in the design of competencies, development centres and the use of psychometrics – in particular Myers Briggs, OPQ and 16pf. In addition, she is an experienced trainer and facilitator with a track record in training people at all levels in a range of soft skills and leadership themes.

Her passion for continuous development has enabled the acquisition of process consulting as well as general business skills over the years which in turn have proved a sound basis for her role in facilitating senior teams in strategy development and business planning.  Some projects of note include:


  • Designed and implemented management development and talent programmes in the public sector, telecommunications and oil industry
  • Designed and delivered culture change programmes for several organisations. Facilitator to the development of a service excellence culture for businesses in Hong Kong, Japan, the Caribbean and the UK
  • Facilitated strategy development workshops for a senior team in a white goods manufacturer and rolling out an organisational change programme 
  • Supported an automotive design company in improving problem solving and management skills as a precursor to matching manufacturer expectations
  • Designed and implemented a 360 degree feedback process as part of leadership development for a senior team in a Caribbean telecoms company
  • Supported an automotive products manufacturer in developing a teamwork/process improvement culture.
  • Review of training and development for a US bank
  • Diagnosing and improving management skills in a public sector body through a package of development centres and training programmes.
  • Facilitating the roll out of leadership competency and securing acceptance within a volunteer reliant charitable body.


As a recently qualified osteopath, I hope to achieve parallel (and potentially interdependent) careers that enable me to make a difference to people both in terms of their physical and occupational lives.
