What's in a Name?

Many people ask us what does VAGA stand for?  It doesn't!  The name was chosen in honour of Nikolai and Helen VAGA, the parents of Nikki Enoch who founded the company.  Nikolai, who was born in Estonia, survived World War II, travelled the World as a merchant seaman and at the age of 80 was able to visit his homeland for the first time after the cold war ended.  Helen lived all of her life in the same parish in Liverpool and unselfishly gave her support to her children and wider family, the local church and people in our community who needed help.  Both are inspirational in very different ways.

Our ambition is to inspire those we support and come into contact with and for the results that we help to achieve. We pride ourselves on finding innovative and cost effective solutions and for being committed to learning and improvement.
